Hotel: Ashore in Ocean City, Maryland

This is a great hotel, great location and very pretty, and I'd stay here again. I booked my trip a month ago without looking into reviews of the place too much, and admittedly was a little nervous leading up to this trip after reading some of them. The hotel is gorgeous, has great spaces, well decorated, cool and we had an easy time checking in. Parking is $25 per night but it's a prime location hotel, and this didn't bother me. It's cool, spacious and everyone was helpful and kind when we interacted with them.

The breakfast was alright, but nothing crazy. Would pass on it given the opportunity again. We had an oceanside room and were very happy with it, but a few things to know if you're staying here. No rooms directly face the ocean. You can see the ocean from your room, but it's not oceanfront per se. However it is a nice view from the window and this wasn't the point of our trip. The balcony is very small and it isn't somewhere you can sit and hang out, it's just a good view. But there is plenty of great patio space to do this elsewhere on the premisis. AC, water, etc everything in the room worked as expected (the AC is controlled on the unit, not the wall control by the entrance which does nothing). The pullout bed in our place didn't have sheets, but again, we didn't need them. Overall very impressed and lots of the negative reviews are unfounded in my opinion. The hotel is constantly being improved by the looks of it and I think it's a great stay.
